An answer to prayer!

I was recently diagnosed with colon cancer that has spread to my liver. To say my world seemed to stop in it's orbit does little to really express the experience of what it felt like to more or less receive a death sentence, when my oncologist told me that without the chemo, I had maybe 6 months to live, and with it, maybe the treatment could give me an extension of a year and a half to two years. Knowing enough about the side effects of chemotherapy, I could imagine what those "possible" two years might find me having to endure. So, I said, "no thank you...I'll look into alternative protocols." A month later, after much research and still uncertain about which of the many protocols to try, my daughter, Jan, who was helping me with the research, sent me a link that led me to Ann Cameron, and her wonderful book, "Curing Cancer With Carrots." We both felt as if we'd been on a very long flight to some unknown destination, and the plane finally landed!
What a book! From the first to the last page, I was left with no unanswered questions. I am totally amazed at this writer's ability to take a subject and cover every single aspect with upmost clarity, and still make it easy to read and understand. Having lost my father and both brothers to cancer, I believed there must be some genetic predisposition that found me with this disease. But after reading Ann's book I saw this was not so. However, as a family, the environment, how we lived, ate, slept, reacted,..... all that we carried with us, had everything to do with it! Clearly, cancer isn't just a disease anyone can get. It is, however, as Ann points out, one we can bring on ourselves. One's first realization is, there are many changes one must make in order to affect a cure. At this point in time, I have been working at making many changes from how and what I eat, to getting the right amount of sleep, at the right hours, and finding time for exercise. The first thing I did was buy a good juicer, and my grocer provides me with 25 lb. bags of organic carrots, twice a week. What a blessing! But being led to Ann's book was the first blessing of many!
I am so grateful for this book, and her story of how she cured her cancer with carrots. My faith abounds! But I am most grateful, that she followed her heart, and cared enough to bring others to the truth that regardless of what the medical profession might tell us, a cure really can be as simple as carrots!! I will be grabbing up as many copies of this book that I can get my hands on, to give as gifts to family and friends! What better gift to give, than a book that tells it all, and from the writer's personal experience, explaining how to beat cancer, stopping it in it's tracks!

This book is excellent! I thank God for putting Ann in my path and encouraging me to continue with my juicing. I agree with everything written in this book. I wasn't given a good prognosis by doctors and was given 5 weeks of radiation from stage 3b- 4 cancer and refused chemo & no surgery, during this time I juiced large amounts of carrots, ginger, and celery (4 cups a day- 32 oz) .. along with a vegetarian diet and turmeric supplement and was completely clear of cancer. I encourage everyone to juice carrots & do meditation/ rest and have faith that there is a way and there is a higher power that wants you well. This book is evidence of how commitment and determination can naturally heal your body. Best wishes!
